VIDEO: Police in Turkey Chased a Bear

A bear was spotted in the streets of Hopa, a city in Turkey's Artvin province near the Black Sea. Security cameras positioned around the city captured footage of the bear, according to Ermenihaber.

It is believed that the bears in the nearby forest have awakened from a deep winter sleep and are hungry.

In an effort to capture the bear, the police took action. The bear was seen passing right by the police station, prompting officers to step outside to neutralize the situation. However, the bear managed to escape from the Turkish police.

After losing track of the bear, the police returned empty-handed to the station.
