Patients Who Died Were Men Aged 78 and 66: Ministry of Health

As of May 7, 11:00 AM, a total of 2884 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease have been recorded, of which 1185 patients have recovered and 42 have resulted in death. Currently, 1648 patients are receiving treatment for coronavirus disease. In total, 28017 tests have been conducted.

Thus, there are 102 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease and 50 recovered patients. Regarding the fatalities, the Ministry of Health reports that the deceased patients were 78 (male) and 66 (male) years old and had accompanying chronic illnesses.

On the previous day, 2 deaths were recorded, wherein the patients were confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus; however, the deaths occurred due to other illnesses. The total number of such cases is 9.
