35-Year-Old Man Attempts Suicide from Nor Hachn Bridge

On May 6, at 21:08, the National Crisis Management Center of Armenia received information that a citizen was attempting suicide by jumping from the Nor Hachn bridge in the Kotayk region.

A rescue team from the special rescue operations center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a psychological counselor from the psychological support division were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that Artavazd A. (born in 1985) had crossed the dangerous edge of the bridge and was threatening to jump.

The suicide attempt was prevented by the police officers present at the scene.
