27-Year-Old Driver in Abovyan Hits Pedestrian with Lada Priora; Victim Dies

On May 5, around 21:20, 27-year-old Tigran Sedrakyan, a resident of Abovyan, struck a pedestrian while driving his Lada Priora with license plate 69 GG 669 on Youth Street. The pedestrian, Larisa Yeprikyan, 79, was also a resident of Abovyan.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene but called the Abovyan Medical Center. However, the doctors who arrived found that the pedestrian had died.

Reports indicate that the driver was taken to the Abovyan Medical Center to assess his level of sobriety.
