Major Car Accident in Syunik: Injuries Reported

On May 4, at 17:07, the National Crisis Management Center of Armenia received information about a car accident on the 30th km of the Sisian-Yerevan highway, with reported casualties.

A fire-rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a Nissan Murano, driven by Parghev K. (born 1974), had veered off the roadway and rolled approximately 30 meters down a nearby gorge, resulting in injuries to the passengers.

The passengers, Narek V. (born 1994), Marzpet K. (born 1993), Hamesd H. (born 1950), and Samvel K. (born 1968), were extricated from the vehicle by local forces and taken to Sisian Medical Center, where their health conditions were assessed as satisfactory.

The rescuers disabled the vehicle and closed the gas valve.
