When Will Public Transport Restrictions Be Lifted?
During the state of emergency declared to prevent the spread of the new type of coronavirus in Armenia, public transport will continue to remain inactive.
This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister and the emergency regime supervisor Tigran Avinyan during the Instagram live conversation of the Children's Foundation of Armenia (COAF).
“As a sector with considerable risk, public transport will not operate during the state of emergency. I believe we can address this issue around mid-May. I understand that this is one of the restrictions causing the greatest difficulties, and I ask for the forgiveness of all our compatriots. However, since the risk of spreading the infection significantly increases in the transport sector, that is why the transport restrictions will be lifted by mid-May, during the final phase,” Avinyan noted.
