President Armen Sarkissian's Wife Undergoes Heart Surgery

The wife of the President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, Nune Sarkissian, has undergone heart surgery. This was announced today, April 27, on her Instagram page.

She wrote specifically: “I recently had heart surgery at the Astghik Medical Center’s Cardiac Surgery Department in Yerevan. Thanks to surgeon Mher Sasunian, cardiologist Karine Sarkissian, anesthesiologist Eva Krasnikova, and the dedicated team of the best doctors, my heart has been restored; I am currently in the recovery process and have the opportunity to start my life anew. I am grateful to the entire team.”

“I also want to thank everyone who sent bouquets, books, cards, letters, and good wishes, which helped me immensely,” she added.
