More than 70 people infected with coronavirus in a Russian monastery

In the Holy Trinity Serafimo-Diveyevo Monastery in the Nizhny Novgorod region, 76 people have been infected with the coronavirus. This was announced by the head of the region, Gleb Nikitin. His statements are posted on the regional government's website, as reported by Lenta.

"We see that the number of cases continues to grow. Out of 207 confirmed cases, 76 have been identified in the Holy Trinity Serafimo-Diveyevo Monastery, where the outbreak is located," Nikitin said. He emphasized that the situation regarding the coronavirus in Diveyevo is being controlled, and disinfection is being carried out throughout the monastery.
