65 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital

The Shirak regional administration reports that currently, 65 patients are being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, 59 of whom are residents of the Shirak region.

“In addition to the 59 patients receiving treatment at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, 11 patients are being treated in the capital, 10 individuals have recovered and been discharged, and there have been 3 documented fatalities due to the illness. At present, there are 277 citizens in isolation or self-isolation in the Shirak region.

Since March 1, a total of 686 tests have been conducted in the region’s health facilities and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The work to identify risks and contacts and to implement isolation continues continuously,” the statement says.
