Utility Expense Compensation Beneficiaries Can Decline State Support for Needy Individuals
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has received numerous letters from citizens who are beneficiaries of the 11th and 12th programs for compensating utility expenses due to the economic consequences of the coronavirus, wishing to decline state support in favor of compatriots in greater need of social assistance.
In case of such a desire, citizens should apply to the supply companies via email (for gas: [email protected]; for electricity: [email protected]), attaching a relevant application signed, scanned, or photocopied, along with a copy of an identification document.
There is no formal template for the application; it can be written freely, but it must be signed. If an application is provided, the support amount for the subscriber will be transferred fully or partially to the state budget account "Financial assistance for the prevention and overcoming of the coronavirus infection (COVID-19) through donations from individuals and organizations" with the account number 900005001947.
