Prime Minister Has Aged More Than Usual in Two Years, Kiro Manoyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan seems to be quite fatigued from the recent pressures of the past month. This was noted by Kiro Manoyan, head of the ARF Bureau's Office of Armenian Cause and Political Issues, during an interview with NEWS.am, while commenting on the Prime Minister's recent Facebook live sessions.
“It was evident in his speech that he occasionally paused to think about what he should say and on what subjects. It is clear that the person is doing quite heavy work under these circumstances and not everyone is aware of the challenges and the government's necessary responses to these problems. It is clear that the Prime Minister has aged more than anyone would normally age in two years,” he said.
Regarding the capabilities of the government and Pashinyan's team, Kiro Manoyan stated, “It’s not always effective. It must be said that there is effort, but not everyone is ready to cope with this heavy and unprecedented situation. It could have been worse, but there have also been quite a few shortcomings and deficiencies.”
