I Have Nothing to Hide, It’s Time I’m Ready to Answer All Questions: Serzh Sargsyan

Dear journalists, I want you to believe that I am more interested in communicating with our media than you are. I have nothing to hide; the time has come when I am ready to answer all questions. This was stated by the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, during a conversation with journalists before appearing before the parliamentary inquiry commission on the April War.

Serzh Sargsyan requested the commission to hold a session after the state of emergency; however, the commission deemed it appropriate to hold the session on April 16. “The state of emergency was also extended, so I have effectively been deprived of that opportunity, because the issue is so important that I cannot satisfy you or our society with just a few responses on the spot. Therefore, I promise that immediately after the state of emergency ends, I will invite all media outlets operating in Armenia and will answer all your questions only related to the April events,” he said.
