100,000 Test Reagents Brought from the PRC to Armenia; PCR Tests to be Produced in Armenia
During a government meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Committee Tigran Avinyan announced that 100,000 test reagents were brought to Armenia on April 15.
“We have imported 100,000 test reagents on another flight from China, which will be handed over to the Institute of Molecular Biology,” said Avinyan, adding that PCR tests will be produced in Armenia.
“At this stage, the expense on research and development is justified, and we hope that we will have the final product in exactly the form we expect,” Avinyan stated.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan quipped that if the situation develops under an optimistic scenario, Armenia will turn it into a vacuum cleaner.
