How to Organize Graduation and Admission Exams in the Current Situation: Discussion
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a meeting during which the process of organizing graduation exams in the current situation was discussed. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports presented a package of proposals regarding the conduct of final exams in general education, secondary vocational, and higher educational institutions, as well as admission exams for universities. It was noted that this package was developed taking into account the experiences of several countries.
As a result of an extensive discussion, the Prime Minister instructed to present a draft government decision. The issue of student tuition fees was also addressed. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of providing support to students who have a high level of academic achievement. A program of measures was also instructed to be submitted regarding this issue.
Ideas were exchanged regarding the ongoing work to provide students with tablets. Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of comprehensively organizing this process and instructed the Ministries of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, and High-Tech Industry to present a program for organizing the production of tablets, which would not only propose a solution to the current situation but would also ensure the necessary quantity of tablets for students each year.
