Disinfection Measures Implemented at Artsakh Voting Stations
The Artsakh Information Headquarters reports that, according to the information provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, disinfection measures were carried out at all voting stations as part of the organizational work for the second round of the presidential elections scheduled for April 14, 2020. Specialists from the State Budgetary Institution 'Center for Epidemiology and Hygiene' conducted the disinfection.
Preventive measures were taken among the members of the commission regarding the correct use of personal protective equipment and adherence to personal hygiene rules.
In the capital city of Stepanakert and the regional centers, disinfection measures were conducted with the resources of the 'Center for Epidemiology and Hygiene', while in rural areas, the activities were overseen by the executive directors of regional health units and heads of regional departments.
The Ministry of Health provided the Central Electoral Commission with 71,500 masks, 14,000 pairs of gloves, and 600 units of disinfectant. Additionally, the Artsakh police received 500 masks, 1,000 pairs of gloves, and 60 units of disinfectant.
Monitoring continues at all medical and sanitary checkpoints, which are supplied with appropriate disinfectant solutions and medical supplies.
