Turkey Ranks Fourth in the World for Coronavirus Spread

Turkey ranks fourth in the world among the countries most affected by the coronavirus. In terms of the number of infections, Turkey trails only behind the United States, the United Kingdom, and Spain. In the last 24 hours, the United States recorded 17,668 new cases, the United Kingdom 5,491, Spain 4,748, and Turkey 4,117 cases. This information was reported by Ermenihaber.

It is noteworthy that Turkey has a high mortality rate among patients under the age of 60. For instance, in Spain, only 4.5 percent of the first 805 deaths from the coronavirus were aged under 60, and in Italy, just 1.7 percent of the first 1,625 victims were under that age. In contrast, Turkey's figure stands at 20 percent.
