Price Changes Observed in Artsakh: 5 Increases and 2 Decreases Among 7 Products
On April 8, 2020, specialists from the State Commission for Regulating Public Services and Economic Competition conducted an analysis of 43 widely consumed goods across 20 retail outlets in Stepanakert. The results indicated changes in the average prices of 7 product categories compared to the previous day, including 5 increases and 2 decreases. This information was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
Specifically, the average price increases were recorded for the following products: lentils (1 kg) at 42 drams or 6.7%, buckwheat (1 kg) at 20 drams or 3.0%, coffee “Original Luminous” (100 grams) at 3 drams or 1.4%, sugar (1 kg) at 2 drams or 0.7%, and tea “Akbar” (100 grams) at 2 drams or 0.3%. Meanwhile, average price decreases were noted for cucumber (1 kg) at 100 drams or 12% and lemon (1 piece) at 17 drams or 5.7%.
There are no dominant market operators present in the product markets where these changes were observed.
