Earlier, the official representative of the Prime Minister stated that Johnson, who is experiencing health issues including a high fever and cough, has been transferred to the hospital upon the advice of his doctor.

Downing Street has assured that Johnson continues to lead the government and remains in contact with the cabinet ministers.

It became known that Johnson had contracted COVID-19 on March 27.
