Entry and Exit of People and Vehicles in Charentsavan Prohibited Until April 5
Based on the decision of the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, restrictions have been imposed in the Charentsavan community of Kotayk Province until April 5, with the exception of the Fantan settlement.
The Deputy Prime Minister's decision is presented as follows:
- In the Charentsavan community of Kotayk Province, with the exception of the Fantan settlement, the following restrictions apply:
A) A special regime for entering and exiting the administrative borders of the community (excluding the Fantan administrative area) that prohibits the entry and exit of individuals and vehicles, except for the supply of essential goods, pharmaceuticals, food, and fuel.
B) An exception to the entry restriction established in point A of this item is set until 24:00 on March 31, 2020, for individuals who have a permanent residence right or who actually reside in the Charentsavan community.
C) To ensure the implementation of this special regime, checkpoints and inspection points will be established by the National Security Service and the Police in specified locations to conduct inspections of allowed individuals and vehicles entering the administrative territory of the Charentsavan community (excluding the Fantan settlement).
