Smokers Are Most Likely to Die from Coronavirus: Arsen Torosyan

The Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, made a statement on his Facebook page, which we present below.

“I constantly hold myself back from talking about this so that I won't be accused again of fighting against smoking. But I can no longer remain silent… Smokers are the ones who die the most from the coronavirus because the virus attacks the lungs, which are already severely damaged in smokers. The damage is caused by both regular and electronic cigarettes, as well as hookahs. Don't you want to get seriously ill with coronavirus or die from it? Quit smoking right now,” wrote the minister.
