Risk Exists That Banks Will Provide Zero-Percent Loans to Their Close Business Associates, Marukyan
“There is a risk that banks will provide zero-percent loans to their close business associates, who will then keep their high-interest loans and, as a result, have access to zero-percent loans. In other words, the financial resources will not reach the truly affected citizens,” said Edmon Marukyan, the head of the 'Liberal Armenia' faction in an interview with reporters.
“Therefore, when people are complaining to banks, they should not be sent back to banks again,” Marukyan added.
It should be noted that today, at the start of the National Assembly’s four-day session, Marukyan proposed that parliamentary sessions should not be held, requesting a recess to discuss the issue within factions.
