Photos: Streets, Stops, and Public Places in Gyumri Are Being Disinfected

In the Shirak Province, an operational headquarters has been established for preventive measures, and supervision will be enforced during the state of emergency regarding the actions being carried out. Specifically, based on safety and sanitary-hygienic requirements, the municipal services of the city are conducting disinfection work in crowded areas of the city.

“During the meeting, an instruction was given. We are now carrying out disinfection operations at stops, near trash bins, and in crowded places. We will regularly carry out preventive work with our waste collection vehicles, equipment, and human resources until the disease recedes,” said Vardges Samsonyan, director of the Gyumri Municipality’s communal services.

For extensive disinfection operations, the communal department did not have the necessary stock of chlorine and was able to start the work only after receiving chlorine from the capital.
