Mane Tandilyan Prohibited Committee Members from Removing Masks
During the discussion of the draft activity program for 2020-2021 years, signed between the committee and educational, business, and public organizations on September 3, 2019, the reporter from the NGO "Economic Law Center," Movses Aristakesyan, requested to remove his mask for easier speaking. However, the committee chair did not permit it.
“No, keep it on. We all have our masks on, please, I assure you, it’s easier from my experience,” said Mane Tandilyan.
Aristakesyan ultimately presented his report wearing a mask but struggled to speak quickly, stating, “I apologize, I am short of breath, so I have to speak slowly. I wanted to fit into three minutes.” The committee members urged him not to rush, while the economist took breaks during his report to catch his breath before continuing.
