The Coronavirus Infected Patient in Meghri Returned from Italy on March 10
A resident of Meghri diagnosed with coronavirus returned from Italy on March 10. Edgar Martirosyan, the Chief Secretary of the Syunik Regional Administration, informed NEWS.am about this.
“He was in Italy as a tourist, and since the day of his arrival, he has been in isolation at home. He had a fever, called for an ambulance, and went to the Meghri hospital, where he was isolated in the infectious diseases department and tested,” he said, noting that the man’s family has only been isolated in their own home since, because after his return, he only had contact with them.
It should be mentioned that currently in Armenia, there are 28 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection, most of which are related to the well-known engagement party in Ejmiatsin.
