Parents of Some Classmates of Infected Child Refuse Quarantine

Just now, the spokesperson for the Minister of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, announced that one of those infected with coronavirus is a school-aged child.

According to ‘Hetq,’ the infected child is from the city of Ejmiadzin and is a student at Khachatur Abovian N 4 Basic School in Vagarshapat.

The school principal, Arusyak Muradyan, told ‘Hetq’ that the infected child is a third grader, and students from the class are currently being isolated along with their parents. “35 students are in isolation right now. However, I don’t know how many will go and how many will refuse. We are currently dealing with that issue,” she said.

“Are there people refusing?”
“Yes, there are parents who are refusing to quarantine,” Arusyak Muradyan added.
