Epidemiological Operations Underway in Armenia, Ministry of Health

The spokesperson for the Minister of Health of Armenia, Alina Nikoghosyan, made a post on her Facebook page, stating that the Ministry of Health has been receiving periodic "alerts" from both the population and representatives of mass media regarding the isolation of individuals in various regions of the republic.

In this regard, it is announced that due to the situation concerning the coronavirus disease, epidemiological operations are being conducted in the country as per established protocols.

We urge media outlets not to create a panic atmosphere with "sensational" headlines and to trust that the ministry is adequately fulfilling its responsibilities in this matter. We also call on the public to remain calm and to follow official news updates.
