Teachers' Salaries Will Be Maintained, Araik Harutyunyan
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Araik Harutyunyan, announced in a recent Facebook live session that teachers' salaries will be maintained despite the suspension of classes in educational institutions until March 23.
“The missed programs will be supplemented through additional classes, and examinations will be organized later. We have developed a series of measures and methods to encourage distance learning during this period, ranging from the most primitive forms of communication via email to conducting classes through video conferencing. As soon as classes resume, we plan to implement additional lessons,” the minister stated.
