Echmiadzin Woman Ignored Health Guidelines, Visited Hairdresser and Jeweler, Says Prime Minister

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke during a Facebook live session about the responsibility of citizens during the coronavirus situation and the actions taken by some individuals.

“A woman from Echmiadzin, after returning from Italy, felt unwell and had a fever. Despite experiencing symptoms, she took antipyretics and, upon disembarking from the plane, disregarded the calls for self-isolation and warnings. Literally coming out from systems, as she had taken medications, she went first to a jeweler and then to a hairdresser, and afterward participated in her son's engagement.

Now we have this situation. Both the jeweler and the hairdresser are also in isolation, as are all the participants of the engagement. At this moment, it has been confirmed that the woman infected her husband and her mother-in-law's son, while the situation regarding others remains unclear,” the Prime Minister stated.
