St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center Denies Reports of 15-Year-Old COVID-19 Patient
The St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center has been reported to have a 15-year-old patient infected with COVID-19. This was stated by the news website Hayeli.am.
According to the site, the teenager recently returned from Georgia, where he participated in competitions. He has reportedly come into contact with participants from various countries, including Italy. A COVID-19 test was conducted on the boy, which returned positive.
However, Gevorg Derzanyan, the spokesperson for St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center, has refuted this information.
“According to Hayeli.am, there is a 15-year-old COVID-19 infected patient at the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center. THIS INFORMATION IS FALSE and does not correspond to reality... We urge you to follow only official news sources and official websites, rather than panic-spreading 'media' like Hayeli.am,” the spokesperson stated.
