Pregnant Woman Dies in One of the Hospitals: Details

A woman aged 23-25 has been transferred from Martuni Hospital to one of the hospitals in Yerevan, where she later died, according to ArmDaily.am. The media has learned that the woman was from Stepanavan but had recently married in Martuni city. She had been hospitalized in the infectious diseases department of Martuni Hospital.

According to circulating information, the woman had previously experienced lung-related issues but had hidden this from her relatives. She was pregnant and was transferred to a hospital in Yerevan after being examined at Martuni Hospital, where she ultimately passed away.

It was also reported that the woman was kept in isolation, and her body has not yet been given to her relatives, leading to speculations that she may have had coronavirus. Meanwhile, in an interview with the media, the director of Martuni Hospital stated that she was transferred to them with acute respiratory illness, but later died in Yerevan. When asked if it was coronavirus, the director replied that the girl had a chronic illness.
