No Need to Postpone Classes, No Need for Panic: Tigran Avinyan
During a government meeting, Armenia's Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan spoke about the possibility of postponing classes due to the coronavirus. "One of the options could be, for example, delaying classes," Tatoyan suggested.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan also stated that specific justifications are needed for such decisions, which should confirm that there is already a spread of the virus. "Our cases are very localized, very specific, involving people who have been under control from the outset, and there is no need to discuss such issues yet; there is no need for panic," Avinyan said.
Avinyan emphasized that they are working on a daily basis and that if necessary, such a decision could be made within a single day.
