Moscow Responds to Gunfire at the Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the situation at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border during a briefing in Moscow, in relation to the recent gunfire from Azerbaijan toward Armenian territory. This was reported by Rusarminfo.
“Unfortunately, violations of the ceasefire regime continue along the contact line, resulting in casualties and injuries. We urge both parties to exercise restraint, avoid the use of force, and to intensify the negotiation process aimed at resolving the situation through political means,” Zakharova stated.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson also indicated that the Russian side will continue to monitor this issue and provide comments as necessary.
