VIDEO: Armen Sarkissian to Support Publication of Book on Karen Demirchyan

The President of the Republic, Armen Sarkissian, hosted today Rima Demirchyan, the wife of Armenia's National Hero and statesman Karen Demirchyan, who is also the director of the 'Karen Demirchyan' charitable foundation.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, President Sarkissian congratulated Mrs. Demirchyan, wishing her health and all the best.

The President and Mrs. Demirchyan engaged in a warm conversation reflecting on memories of the past and thoughts for the future, recalling moments related to the late Karen Demirchyan.

President Sarkissian highly valued Karen Demirchyan's political career, noting that his name is eternally recorded in the annals of our people's memory.

Mrs. Demirchyan informed the President that the museum dedicated to Karen Demirchyan is preparing a book that will include materials pertaining to him, photographs, his correspondence, and memories about him. She requested the President's support for the publication of the book, to which President Sarkissian gladly agreed.

The President and Mrs. Demirchyan also discussed the activities and programs of the 'Karen Demirchyan' charitable foundation.
