Trump Calls The New York Times a 'Disgrace of Journalism'
U.S. President Donald Trump has described The New York Times as a "disgrace of journalism" for spreading false information.
"The New York Times is a disgrace of journalism. They were a dead newspaper before I entered politics and will be a dead newspaper again once I leave, which will happen in five years. Fake news is the enemy of the people," Trump wrote on his Twitter account.
It is noteworthy that on February 27, Donald Trump's campaign filed a defamation suit against The New York Times in the New York Supreme Court. The lawsuit was prompted by an article published by the newspaper last year regarding Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential elections.
