The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Araik Harutyunyan, addressed the possibility of declaring emergency holidays in educational institutions on his Facebook page.

“Dear compatriots, I have been receiving messages since morning about the possibility of declaring emergency holidays in educational institutions. The matter is under our attention, and we will definitely inform you about decisions. Remember, a decision was recently made to nullify absences in order to address the need and alleviate tension. Our decisions will stem exclusively from the necessity to protect the health of our children, which is MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING ELSE.
