200 Million Dollar Investment Program: Why the Fourth Mobile Operator is Not Entering the Market
For about a year and a half, a 200 million dollar investment program has been hanging in the air in Armenia. This program aims to establish the fourth mobile operator in the country. Specifically, the company 'A Telecom' applied to the government in December 2018, expressing its desire to build the fourth mobile operator in Armenia, set up a large data storage center, a private television broadcasting company, and a second operator in Artsakh. The company intended to provide 5G internet services.
However, at this moment, according to the company's leader, the implementation of the project is obstructed by the Public Services Regulatory Commission. This is reported by the newspaper 'Haykakan Zhamanak'. For more details, refer to the newspaper's current issue.
