‘Haykakan Zham’ Reports Official Dismissed from Elite Military Unit

‘Haykakan Zham’ reports that, according to information from the newspaper, in addition to the commander of the Defense Army, Karen Abrahamyan, the head of the psychological operations department of the Stepanakert ‘Haykazov’ military unit, also known as an elite military unit, has been dismissed.

It should be reminded that on January 30, a soldier, Vahram Avagyanyan, died in that military unit. Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, one of whom is the son of former MP Arakel Movsisyan (also known as Shmays).

Alongside the arrest related to the soldier's death, two more of Mkrtchyan's comrades-in-arms, Khachik Gasparyan and Spartak Avetisyan, have also been detained.
