Sergey Lavrov Meets with Ambassadors of CIS Countries

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, met with the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors of the CIS member states to discuss issues related to the expansion of cooperation among the countries of the union.

“During the meeting, the results of work in 2019 in the fields of trade, humanitarian assistance, and security were summarized. Issues regarding the strengthening of the positions of CIS countries in the international arena were addressed. Further steps towards multilateral cooperation were clarified,” the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated.

Additionally, the participants of the meeting exchanged views on international and regional issues.
