Yekaterinburg-Yerevan Flight Returns to Airport
Today at 7:35 AM, a flight from Yekaterinburg to Yerevan took off from Koltsovo Airport (5:35 AM Moscow time). However, approximately an hour later, the aircraft, which was carrying 65 passengers and 6 crew members, had to return to the airport.
According to RIA Novosti, during the ascent, a malfunction indicator started to signal an issue with the landing gear, prompting the aircraft's commander to decide to return to the airport.
The aircraft successfully landed back at the departure airport. Fortunately, the passengers and crew members were unharmed.
The investigative department has initiated checks on the incident, and officials are working to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the event.
