Snow Falls in Syunik and Vayots Dzor Provinces
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 24 at 20:20, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks and difficult to navigate for passenger vehicles. On the roads of the Syunik province and the Sotk-Kapan highway, there are places with black ice.
Snow is falling in the Syunik province and in the city of Jermuk in Vayots Dzor province. According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
