Rescue Operation for Russian Citizens' Hiking Group by Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations
On January 24, at 08:28, the 911 emergency hotline received a call reporting that a hiking group, consisting of six citizens from the Russian Federation, was in need of rescue assistance 13 kilometers east of the Nshkhark community in the Gegharkunik region. One member of the group was reported to be feeling unwell.
A rescue team from the regional emergency management department dispatched one combat unit using an all-terrain vehicle to the scene.
