Bulgaria Gives Russian Diplomats 48 Hours to Leave the Country
Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has given Russian diplomats suspected of espionage 48 hours to leave the country. This was reported by the TASS agency.
“The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared Russian diplomats at the embassy in Sofia persona non grata within the framework of its authorities. Ambassador Anatoly Makarov was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be handed a note of protest. They have been given 48 hours to leave the territory of the country,” the statement from the ministry reads.
