New Details on Judge Tatevik Grigoryan's Incident

The advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Gor Abrahamyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "In connection with the discovery of a bullet fired between the double glass windows of the office of the judge Tatevik Grigoryan at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, a criminal case has been initiated based on the report filed by the judge, under the characteristics of Article 235, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

To avoid unnecessary speculations, I find it necessary to note that the examination of the scene revealed that although the outer layer of the double-glazed window was broken, which Judge Tatevik Grigoryan discovered on January 8, the first working day of this year upon entering her office, the inner layer of the glass was intact. Only after discovering the bullet between the two layers of glass on January 21 did T. Grigoryan contact the police. This indicates that no evidence has been gathered during the preparatory proceedings that would suggest a shot fired intentionally for specific purposes, especially considering that the incident likely occurred during the holiday weekend.

Despite this circumstance, as well as the fact that a criminal case has been initiated concerning the illegal acquisition, sale, possession, transportation, or carrying of a weapon or ammunition, appropriate measures will be undertaken during the pre-investigation to clarify all the circumstances of the incident."
