Armenia Elected Chair of UNESCO's Executive Committee
On January 21 in Geneva, Armenia was elected as the Chair of the Executive Committee of the International Bureau of Education of UNESCO for the years 2020-2021, according to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia. They also reminded that on November 21, 2019, during the 40th session of the General Conference of UNESCO in Paris, Armenia was elected a member of the International Bureau of Education of UNESCO's Council (for the period of 2019-2023) and the Legal Committee of the General Conference (for the 41st session).
The International Bureau of Education is UNESCO's first-category institute that provides professional support and expertise in the field of education to all UNESCO member states.
