Emergency Situations Ministry Warns of Impassable Roads in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 21 at 10:00 AM, there are impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is open for heavy vehicles equipped with snow chains. The Sotk-Karvachar road is impassable for all types of transport.
In the Syunik region, there are patches of ice on the roads. Regarding the Larsi passage, according to information received from the Emergency Management Department of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of transport. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
