Azerbaijani SOCAR is Negotiating with Belarus
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is in negotiations with the Belarusian side regarding the supply of Azerbaijani oil to the country. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the official representative of the agency, Ibrahim Ahmadov.
On January 21, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that Minsk would purchase oil from alternative markets to Russia at global prices. "Currently, I can inform you that negotiations are ongoing," Ahmadov stated.
