The Country is Moving in an Uncertain Direction: Hariri Calls for Urgent Government Formation

Lebanon must rapidly form a new government to halt the collapse and worsening economic conditions. This was stated by the country's former Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri, as reported by Reuters.

It is worth recalling that Hariri resigned as a result of protests to allow for the formation of a new government and to pull the country out of its dire situation. However, the new government has yet to be successfully established.

“Our government resigned to allow a new one to begin reforms, but obstruction has continued for 90 days, and the country is moving in an uncertain direction,” Hariri wrote on his Twitter account.
