Investigation Will Clarify Everything: Armen Grigoryan Attends Gevorg Kutoyan's Funeral
The memorial service for Gevorg Kutoyan, former head of the National Security Service of Armenia, took place on January 19. After participating in the service, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, spoke with reporters, emphasizing that there is public interest in having a transparent investigation regarding the criminal case opened in connection with Kutoyan's death.
Grigoryan noted, "The investigative body is currently providing all necessary information." He highlighted that the Armenian authorities are keen on ensuring that the investigation remains completely open. "All hypotheses are on the table. We have not reached a conclusion at this moment, but the investigation will clarify everything," he added.
Grigoryan urged especially those who are posting about the incident on social media to show restraint and allow investigative and security agencies to carry out an open investigation and present their findings to the public as fully as possible.
