Road Closures and Difficult Driving Conditions in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia has announced that as of January 19 at 10:40 AM, there are blocked and difficult-to-navigate roads across the country.
The Sotk-Karvachar road and the Vardenyats Pass are closed to trucks, while other vehicles face significant difficulties.
Black ice is present on some roads in the Syunik region. Snowfall has been reported in Dilijan and Ijevan in Tavush, as well as in Kapan in the Syunik region.
According to information from the Emergency Management Agency of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation for North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
