Hartutashen-Tashir Highway Closed
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 16 at 11:30 PM, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass and the Sotk-Karmiravan highway are closed for trucks and passable with difficulty for other vehicles.
The H-31 highway section from Hartutashen to Tashir is closed. On the Kapan-Goris highway in the Syunik region, there is black ice in some places.
Snow has fallen in the towns of Gavar and Sevan in Gegharkunik province, on the Sotk-Karmiravan highway, in Charentsavan and Hrazdan in Kotayk province, and in Goris, Kapan, and Kajaran in Syunik province, as well as in Ijevan, Dilijan, and Noyemberyan in Tavush province, and in the regions of Aparan and Aragats in Aragatsotn province, except for the town of Spitak in Lori province.
According to the information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepanstminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
